Photos: Opening of New Church in Bocagrande, Cartagena – Colombia

With great joy, we announce that on May 8, 2026, the fifth location of the Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International was opened in the city of Cartagena, Bolivar, in the Bocagrande sector. 

Nearly 200 brothers and sisters attended this gathering, giving thanks to God and expressing their gratitude for the support of Sr. Maria Luisa Piraquive, Br. Cesar Eduardo Moreno and Sr. Angela Oviedo, whose support made it possible for the Church to be established in this important sector of the city. 

The opening of this location is a great blessing for the brothers and sisters who live or work in Bocagrande, Castillogrande, El Laguito, Getsemani, La Matuna, La Ciudad Amurallada, Tierra Bomba, and other nearby sectors, who will now be able to gather in a place that is closer and more accessible. 

The brothers and sisters rejoice because they will now be able to gather more easily and frequently, enjoying the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Several also shared testimonies of how the Holy Spirit had promised them a nearby location, and today they see that promise fulfilled. 

Glory and honor to our God for allowing this new location to open and for continuing to expand His Church in Colombia.
