Notice to Believers Relating to Facebook Groups – February 26, 2021 – CGMJCI

We reiterate that the Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International does not have any Facebook groups, nor does it promote their creation. The Church’s information is only published on its website www.idmji.org and official pages (not groups) in Facebook and other social media accounts that pertain to both the Church as well as the spiritual activities from Sister Maria Luisa Piraquive.

Accordingly, it is important to report that the groups that are currently active on Facebook do not belong to the Church, they are not promoted or related to it. Unfortunately, the creation and spread of such groups have generated misinformation, doctrinal confusions, misinterpretations, erroneous advice, among many other inconveniences to the detriment of the believers.

It is for this reason that the Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International does not recommend or endorse the creation of groups with names that allude to our congregation. While we remain respectful of each individual’s decisions, we strongly advise against joining them, or in case someone is already part of or created one of them, proceed with deactivating or leaving them, thus avoiding any harm or detriment of people’s spiritual lives.

Lastly, we invite you once again to visit the Church’s website and to subscribe to its official social media accounts, including our YouTube channels (available in various language) through which we continue imparting teachings, notices and news addressed to the congregation worldwide.
