Notice Regarding the Church’s Official Channels of Information

The Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International has official channels of communication related to the congregation worldwide, including social media accounts for the Church itself as well as for Sister Maria Luisa Piraquive, and also, the website www.IDMJI.org/en

We constantly publish material such as testimonies, Bible studies, live teaching services, photos, news regarding hours of operation, locations around the world, and other events that are relevant to our congregants. The distinct features of this material are that it is true and authentic

Contrary to this, every so often people create group chats, message boards or email chains to share alleged revelations from the Church’s worldwide leader, Sister Maria Luisa Piraquive, or from our worldwide head pastor, Brother Carlos Alberto Baena. They also share alleged testimonies, dreams, prophecies, or other fraudulent documents wherein they falsely use the name of the Church. All of these cause confusion, misinterpretations and doctrinal errors that are harmful to the Church’s believers.

Based on the foregoing, the Church does not acknowledge and disapproves any information that people share on unofficial channels and forums. At the same time, the Church strongly suggests to all congregants around the world to refrain from sharing this type of material with other people. Moreover, any information that is of the general interest of the congregation will be published through the official channels of the Church or at our places of worship.

To clarify, this notice does not apply to other types of situations or the use of emails, instant messaging groups or social media, since it has proven to be helpful to facilitate communication for daily work, to organize group events or pass on urgent information related to the day-to-day workings of the Church locations worldwide.
