Photos: Water Baptisms – Italy 2025

In July 2025, water baptisms were held in the city of Rome, Italy, led by Brother Mauricio Betancur. In this event, 61 believers from the locations of Rome, Teramo, Catania, and Turkey were water baptized. Brothers and sisters from 13 nationalities participated in this blessing: Argentina, China, Colombia, the Ivory Coast, Ecuador, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, El Salvador, Spain, Honduras, Italy, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela.

On Saturday, July 26, water baptisms were carried out in the Venice area, with the participation of the locations of Venice, San Donà di Piave, Verona, Bolzano, and Catania. In total, 27 believers (7 men and 20 women) received water baptism, coming from Colombia, Italy, Venezuela, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and Cuba. 

Lastly, on Sunday, July 27, in the city of Milan, with the participation of the Churches of Milan, Torino, Bergamo, Genoa, Brescia, Varese, and the location in Lugano, Switzerland, 63 believers (22 men and 41 women) were water baptized from different nationalities: Albania, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Italy, Peru, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, and Switzerland. 

In total, during these three events in Italy, 151 brothers and sisters from 18 nationalities were water baptized, who made the decision to follow the Lord.

The brothers and sisters gave thanks to Almighty God, who allowed these blessings for His Church in Italy. They also expressed their gratitude to our Sister Maria Luisa Piraquive, Brother Cesar Eduardo Moreno, and Sister Angela Oviedo for their support and authorization for these very special events, and to Brother Mauricio Betancur, who led these celebrations.
