On Sunday, October 13, 2019, the first service in the city of Gastonia, North Carolina, USA, took place at the Phillips Community Center, with close to 135 people in attendance, 19 of which were attending the Church for the first time.
Among the attendees, in addition to brothers and sisters from Gastonia, were church members who live in neighboring cities such as Kings Mountain, Lincolnton, Shelby, Hickory, among others; who normally travel between an hour and a half to two hours (some travel longer distances) to congregate at the church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
