Brother Alvaro Herrera and Sister Mariaclara Mur’s Visit to Australia – March 17 to 31, 2025

From March 17 to 31, 2025, the churches in Australia received a visit from Brother Alvaro Herrera, along with his wife, Sister Mariaclara Mur, during which water baptisms were held for the believers from all the churches in the country.

Melbourne
On March 19, 2025, approximately 12 brothers and sisters from the churches in Melbourne and Adelaide were water baptized. Believers from the Churches in Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart, Sydney, and Perth also attended.

Sydney
On March 23, the brothers and sisters enjoyed watching a sermon by our Sister Maria Luisa Piraquive on Matthew 18, with an attendance of approximately 220 brothers and sisters and five first-time guests.
That same afternoon, 36 brothers and sisters were water baptized, and 80 brothers and sisters, including companions and visitors from New Zealand, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, and Tasmania, attended. A total of 120 brothers and sisters enjoyed this beautiful blessing.

Brisbane
On March 26, 2025, approximately 22 brothers and sisters from the church in Brisbane were water baptized, including two native Australian sisters.
An additional sermon was held on March 27, attended by approximately 90 brothers and sisters of various nationalities, including from New Zealand, Colombia, and several cities in Australia (Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart, Sydney, and Perth).

Perth
The baptisms were held on March 29, 2025, and 15 brothers and sisters of English, Australian, and Colombian nationalities were baptized. Around 60 people attended.
On Sunday, March 30, Brother Alvaro Herrera and Sister Mariaclara visited the Church, a sermon was held, and approximately 110 people attended, including individuals of English, South African, Australian, Chilean, and Colombian nationalities.
